Today, I woke up around 4. Gathered daughter who now wakes up and demands to sleep with us

Researched gold investing and $GLD and $IAU

Woke up again. Reviewed new DIYwealth video while eating breakfast.

Went upstairs. Uploaded video to YouTube, wrote description. Made posts about it in Facebook and LinkedIn.

Futzed with the thumbnail based on folks’ advice.

The end result:

Exercised. Ate.

Random thoughts while doing this:

1) An entire generation of Russian people are about to grow up without fathers. This is going to have a massive ripple effect until 2050. Will this cause a Russian baby boom? Will it create a pervasive culture of despair? Need to do more research.

2) Passive indexes and etfs have GOT to have an impact on valuations in stocks. All these financial companies buying and holding billions worth of shares and alluring more and more retail money through state and company mandated 401ks. How could I prove this? Correlate average rolling valuations against the introduction of ETFs?

Ate too much. Felt like ass.

Wife went to baby shower with au pair. I watched daughter.

Fed her. Watched ep. 10 of Andor.

Watched her some more after wife came home so she could do homework.
